Vermate product is based on a pro-active approach towards animal health which means that “healthy animals don’t get sick” and “prevention is better than cure”. Vermate uses the principle that most animals in their natural environment would walk into a dam or river and stir the water before they drink. By doing so they prefer to drink “dirt” water in order to maintain their health through soil microbes and soluble humus or humates that occur as silt on the bottom of dams and rivers.
Vermate therefore consists of a unique combination of soil bacteria, algae, fungi as well as protozoan species that animals would normally ingest when they are exposed to their natural environment. Due to human interference with the animal’s natural habitat and behavior, exposure to healthy soil microbes becomes inhibited. A lower diversity leads to a weaker system. The result is a weakened animal that is susceptable to diseases and illnesses. Vermate restores the animal’s link with healthy soil microbes which “put the animal back in its natural state”, so to speak.
The power of microbial diversity in Vermate is further strengthened with humic and fulvic macromolecules. Humic and fulvic macromolecules are derived from humus in healthy soil. Humates are formed when microbes reach the end of their life cycle and dies off. Humates therefore resembles the mineralized end product of decomposed microbes and organic material. In health terms humates can be described as the organic version of antibiotics without the destructive effect. It therefore builds up the immune system to prevent illnesses. It also helps the body to heal itself and function constantly at optimum health levels.
Thermal Mud makes use of the principle of increased blood flow to infectious areas. Increase in blood flow result in an increase in temperature as well as an increase in oxygen transfer to the infected area. Infectious bacteria are mostly anaerobic in nature and cannot withstand high oxygen as well as temperature environments. By using Thermal mud oxygen and temperature is used to accelerate healing of wounds and muscle injuries. An outstanding improvement of 75% in healing time is achieved.
Thermal mud is used for the treatment of melanomas, brushy tails, mange, wounds as well as muscle - and tendon injuries. Maintenance treatment with Thermal Mud during strenuous exercise is used as a powerful tool for the prevention of muscle injuries.
Due to the instant heat reaction that is achieved with application of Thermal mud, it is also used as an excellent diagnostic tool to detect muscle and tendon injuries. Thermal mud is truly an excellent way for healing of injuries and wounds naturally.
