Orion was injured in the paddock, and the vet stitched him up, but by the second day, the stitches tore out, and the wound was wide open. They brought her to me with plans to put her down. I cleaned the wound and immediately started applying Thermal Mud. We tried bandaging without the Mud, but it didn’t hold. So I had the vet remove the excess skin, and from then on, we treated it as an open wound. I applied the Mud three times a day and used purple spray on the edges to keep flies away. The proof is in the pictures—the wound healed completely.
